Growers Market
Every Saturday from approx 6:30am to 10:30am, Water Street Car Park Whangarei
In 1997 Whangarei-based tomato grower Murray Burns and Hokianga grower Rob Bradley started the Whangarei Growers’ Market. The concept was to sell direct to the public.
The markets specialty is fresh, quality produce grown locally.

A fun day out for the whole family
The whole park comes to life - Heritage Park clubs throw open their doors and welcome visitors to see the treasures inside their sheds. From vintage cars to vintage tractors, stationary steam engines of all ages and sizes to radio equipment used in the war.
Family Entertainment includes
Bullock sled rides
Train rides - steam and miniature
Hay cart rides
Pony rides and quad bike rides on occasions
Admission for Adults $10, Children FREE
Whangarei Dog Training Obedience & Agility Championship shows
Sunday November 7th 2010, Event venue: Otaika Sports Park, SH 1 Whangarei
Starts 08:30am, ends when competition finishes at Otaika Sports Park.
Weekend of obedience and Agility Championship competitions.
